OMG
So much time since I wrote the last time here
Was busy to find a new school for my daughter (got fired) and prepar her english courses in London for 2 weeks, painting our apartment respecting the Feng Shui rules, preparing the next holidays to Portugal beginning of August and here we are .....
so let me begin:
after Montreal we had a little plane with the same company and I had a wonderful view, over NYC bay
we arrived on monday at 7.00 pm on 21th june in NYC, La Guardia
first shock: the heat .... thought it was the warmness due to the climatization but no, it was the heat of the city, OMG ....
first shock was a thermical one ...

Tuesday 22nd June
After having breakfast in the wonderful Nicole Cafe with an amazing view we went in direction of Central Park
amazing buildings the whole way
At the entrance of the park this advertising: Memphis music this evening, live show
it was a beautiful shiny day and we intended to go in the evening but sadly it rained and we didn't, but let us go on in our discoveries (the guy and young girl you will sometimes see on the pics are my husband and my daughter, I'm taking the whole time the pictures so you will not see me very often)
we are approaching the Beatles aerea
and the "Imagine" memories, little square where people are sitting, meditating, connecting together to John Lennon
we are walking in direction of the Dakota Building where John lived and .... died, it's a strange, weird building (is my perception)
we are returning to Central Park to the Met, accrossing the Park in his width, classical music in the park, young mothers jogging with their babies in babycars, bicyles, rollers, people walking their dogs in babycars, joggers, musicians, people from everywhere, all ages, colours, countries mixed enjoying the freshness of the park,

We spent about 3 hours in the Met and bought there the City Pass. From there we walked to the 5th Avenue through the amazing and beautiful shops, smelling NYC's own city perfume .... busy, hot, electric .... entertaining. And we walked .... and walked ....

Next step: visit of the Empire State Building. The weather is changing. Grey clouds in the sky.

suddenly some light between the grey clouds and slowly NYC puts off his veil
oh another memory of JB: Banana Republic (not a pleasant one for Jeff), there are some Banana Republic so I don't know in which place he worked exactly
So it's time to go home, tired but happy of our first day here.
As we are arriving to the hotel, I'm believing I'm dreaming .... on the other side, just a few meters from where we are I see the Roseland. Yes. Incredible !
