I was searching Google maps for a location near me today and clicked on the little baloon thingy they place there for further viewing options. After doing that I wondered what it would show for my house. My bedroom window: Then I thought I'd take a bit of a wider view of my street and those surrounding me, to see this photo of my nextdoor neighbours house: They're nice folk nextdoor, good Christians, and leave their door open most of the time. I feel it's rather scary though. What if some would-be burglar has a little look at Google maps themselves and sees such a little temptation such as this? It would be like fruit on a tree to them. Do we have no privacy anymore? CCTV, biometric ID, and Google Maps/Earth are just a few of the things that invade our privacy each and every day. I mean, can you send them a solicitors letter requesting them to remove your home from their site or something? I doubt they'd bat an eyelid mind, as I'm sure their lawyers are much more handsomely paid.

There is an upside to Google doing this mind, and that's that I don't have to stop at a busy junction to take a photo of the following, something I see each time I head into town or further afield.

See, that's exactly what I'm talking about! I bet there's loads of others that've not been linked to Google aswell, due to peoples ignorance of what's being shown.
