Oh DJ we're going to NYC on 21th June. I emailed to Gary Lucas who is performing on 25th June with the Gods and Monsters. Just to call him and meet him somewhere for a drink. I'm really excited and will take pics of all the Jeff's famous places, including where he lived. Ah right. I don't need to wish you a great time when you do go then, as I know you'll have one anyway.

I'm really happy about your travel to New York, SC (can I use your real name?), and I'm also a bit jealous! that must be an awesome city to visit, besides, the Jeff tour must be emotional and fun at the same time. Are you traveling alone? Can I come? hehe Hi Julia, I'm prefering to stay Secret ... Chord I will travel with my husband and my daugther, the Micky Mouse lady cat will stay by a friend here in Paris. You're welcome. I just realized watching the map that the St Anne Church is in Brooklyn so I will cross this wonderful bridge I'm dreaming of. I will try to see how I could meet the staff of the Tim Tribute of 1991, maybe through Gary or Rebecca. I was in relation with Rebecca through Myspace, we were talking about veggie as I asked if she cooked veggie for Jeff. He was very respectful. She told me that NYC became each year more expensive so she intented to leave NYC and live in the neighbourhood (is this word OK ? ) close to NYC, quite the country life. She seems to be very simple, in comparison with Joan who became a wonderful woman, very sensitive but so "soul" on stage.

I loved to read all the posts in Lilac Wine before logging ... and then in green. I was in the process of offering you the option of picking a header image and colour scheme the other day, but was cut off due to a switchover in IP. So, if you'd like an actual lilac scheme (perhaps Take That loves you!?) then let me know. So yeah, happy to be back online today!

I googled today the famous adresses where Jeff lived (alone), the place of the Sin'E and the St Anne's Church. OMG .... I can't realize that I will be there in .... a few weeks. Hope to have Gary Lucas as cicerone to show other famous places (even if these don't exist no more today, as I know that some places where Jeff performed had disappeared). Excited, excited ...... I'm just listening the New Year's Eve. Sooooo moving, Jeff without his band but so close to everybody, naked in his own beauty and grace. Precious.

this thread is so silent .... so what I'm loving is ... to go have a lunch in a kind of special place with so awesome meals (organic and cooked with love) ..... in music. The owner, Karine, has a wonderful taste, in matter food but also in music. She loves Jeff and told us today that she was obsessed by Hallelujah and listened to it full blasted in her shop, door opened and everybody in this wonderful all gallery (11 meter high and very long with very lovely arty shops) could hear Jeff the whole day long and during weeks .... no doubt that I was attracted by this place. In fact I knew this place as I found it two years ago going to the french tribute of a little group of people in July 2007, after the tribute I organised in june. So Hallelujah / Jeff Buckley was already there two years ago, and curiously in front of this lovely place where you can buy what you are eating there is a shop with organic cosmetics and there I found something really amazing: a skin cleanser called "Hallelujah" and on it is written "use it rythmically" ..... did you ever use "rythmically" a skin cleanser in your life ? Can only be possible with a "Hallelujah" one I love these little connections with Jeff, he is still there and this make my soul smile.

Nobody has nothing new to write Sad The JBC became also very poor concerning writing, the only threads which are working are the Pictures one and the musical gear and now the quotes about Jeff
what better could happen than something new to listen to
just hope that something will surface soon
